I’m Sheila Stone and I love travel so much that I started my own tour company when I was 60.

I wanted to create a place where women would feel comfortable, where they could connect with the world, and where they could make new friends - both with the other women on the tour and with the women of the places we visit.

My clients are fantastic and I love being with them! I hope you’ll join us sometime soon.

I’m a Late Bloomer.

I graduated from UCLA the year between my sons. I have a BA in Cultural Anthropology. I spent the summer of 2004 in Japan, doing ethnographic research on mid-life women there. It was a fantastic experience that completely destroyed any stereotypes I may have had and it enriched my life so much!

Although I’ve always loved to travel, I didn’t get the opportunity to go overseas until I was 50 when I spent two weeks on an archaeological dig at an English Castle. At age 55, I earned my MA from an English university. Living the the small North Yorkshire town of Skipton gave me a real appreciation of the country.
